MC Choctaw Marching Band/Football Band

The MC Marching Band provides exciting and entertaining programs for the half-time shows of all MC home football games during the fall semester. The Band prepares several different shows each season, with the emphasis being on an exploration of different styles of music appropriate for the marching field. Examples of music from past performance include the music of Copland, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, Styx, John Williams, Bizet, and Louis Prima. The Marching Band, fielded when possible, also participates in parades and other special events throughout the fall, and sometimes travels to one away game.  In those years when a Marching Band is not able to be fielded, the Football Band provides entertainment from the stands and performs routines from the running track during half time.
