Organ Facilities

The organ in Provine Chapel is M.P. Moller Opus 10563, with extensive renovations in 2005 by Gregory Koziel. Outfitted with the latest Peterson ICS-4000 control system, it features 100 levels of memory, midi record and playback, 38 ranks of pipes, and a rebuilt console.  The acoustics of the room are a perfect match for the demands of organ music, making playing and hearing the instrument a memorable experience. Students also have access to a two-manual Moller located in Aven Hall. Several churches have allowed the organ program at Mississippi College access to their instruments. Unlimited access includes a 4 manual, 66 rank 1995 Casavant at Galloway United Methodist church,  Northminster Baptist's 3 manual Austin, and Fondren Presbyterian's 3 manual Zimmer. Ample access includes a 5 manual 157 rank Quimby at First Baptist, a 2 manual Reuter at Morrison Heights Baptist, and a 2 manual Holtkamp at Chapel of the Cross.
